The information collected through planat— formerly known as the Rick Hansen Global Accessibility Map—will not be sold, rented or bartered to any other organization.
RHF will provide individuals with the opportunity to refuse to consent to certain proposed uses of their information (as outlined below) when signing-up for an account. Individuals may also withdraw consent to be recognized, or to receive further information about RHF at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Should you decide to provide personal information to RHF as it regards to planat, RHF will collect that information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your planat account, and to save your preferences for future use.
- To deliver content customized to the region in which you are located when conducting searches.
- To display your reviews, questions and other user-generated content that you voluntarily provide, online as part of planat.
- To promote planat.
RHF will only collect as much information as is necessary to fulfill the intended purpose for which it will be used.
For planat, RHF also collects information about the communications device and software you are using to access planat, your IP address, access times, referring web sites, and visited content and pages.
